This is a blog dedicated to the enjoyment of outdoors through backpacking and hiking. While that includes the whole world and possibly several other planets, we happen to live here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, one of the prime places on earth for having a rich array of outdoor recreation opportunities right outside the back door.
Does it rain around here? Oh yeah. But we embrace the rain. Most people either start evolving webbing between their toes (that’s us) or move to Arizona.
